It's cold here in Seoul. It's getting really freezing outside. I don't expect this weather probably I wasn't really paying too much of my attention to this trip. And I didn't really check out the weather forecast beforehands.

I think it's about 12 degree C here at night. Or colder, perhaps? I start to feel like getting a running nose and I won't be too surprised that I get sick on my way to Tokyo tomorrow. But still 3 days to go and I will hang on.

This is actually the 2nd time to Seoul. Last time I was here to support some system setup for my previous employer. That was like five, or six years ago. I didn't get to see anything much. I flew in for a night, did the system thing and then went straight back to Taipei. It's one of those airport, hotel, office type of trip.

My last visit to Tokyo was in July, now the weather is getting down, but still bareable comparing to Seoul, I guess. I am not in particular fond of Tokyo in a way that 1) it's really crowded, 2) I think the club and night life must be great around here, but I am old for that, and 3) the women here are so skinny so nothing, NOTHING, really fit my size. no shopping, no fun.

But I like Japan in general, most because in my college time back in 1990, I had hang out with the Japanese group. Learn a few words, know the culture from the history of arts with all teh Buhda's drapery, and I just adore Japanese food so so much. I still remember the friend that got me into Uni. The first taste was odd but the second time, I felt right in love with it. But of course, in a business trip, I don't usually get to order this kind of dish.

Also, I love the Kimono, the traditional Japanese dress very much. When I visited my friend back then, we went to the Kimono Shop and saw how they made those beautiful, hand-made, crazy elegant piece in Kyoto city and then I visited one of my friends in Tokyo since her grandmother was the master of dressing people in Kimono. She actually put one in me and let me try it on. Usually it takes hours to get the whole thing on but of course, we didn't have the time to do everything. Just spend like 40 minutes and took a few photoes. But the experience was just so amazing.

I just aware that this "Sudoku" game becomes quite popular.

Can find it in daily newspaper, in kid's TV show and there are information in K+ and plenty of websites out there....

Interesting! New stuff get popular, new terms get hot and sometimes old concept get a second chance to be trendy all of a sudden. But for me, the scary part is not that there is always something new but the fact that I learn this "Sudoku" game from my daughter in a "shame-on-you" way.

That makes me feel old~~~
