I never understand why there are so many people loving on-line gaming . The truth is, on-line or off-line, I don't get gaming. I remember tenish years ago when I was in California, my cousins were so into streetfighter. Every night, I watched them playing the same thing over and over again and never got it.

My ex-bf back then was also a game lover. I would say that he might be a bit advanced in gaming since he started to play sim city and of course some killing/fighting games that I couldn't remember now. Of course, I tried to play those for love but never really got it.

Now I have a daughter of almost 10 and it's getting harder and harder to keep her away from games. I didn't want her to hook up with on-line games even though a lot of her friends are telling her that she should and she will love it. To compromise, I bought her a Nintendo instead. Now my brother also bought her a Wii, but somehow , as least as I adore the idea, I doubt very much how long can I keep her away from on-line gaming and community.

So I make a decision that I should at least try to play one and get prepared for it. I don't think I can handle anything like killing people or forming an army and killing people. So I choose to try "Second Life", which I heard is some kind of social network and community type of game. I registered last night, started trying and so far.... I have no clue.

Wish me luck.
